AMC Networks Inc. (AMCX) reported that its fourth-quarter net income decreased to $15.19 million or $0.21 per share from $29.48 million or $0.41 per share last year.
Net revenues increased to $366.71 million from $338.96 million last year. Fourth-quarter net revenues increased 8.2% led by 10.8% growth at National Networks which more than offset a decline at International and Other.
On average, ten analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.65 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude speical items. Analysts expected revenue of $370.06 million for the quarter.
