Kontron AG (KOTFY.PK,KOTRF.PK,KTN.DE) Tuesday said that it has finalized a cybersecurity project worth around 20 million euros across Central and Eastern Europe or CEE for improving security capabilities for multiple institutions.
The company, which offers Industrial IoT solutions, said that the project will be carried out in collaboration with British cyber security firm, Darktrace Holdings Ltd, which will offer advanced AI-driven cybersecurity technology. The partnership combines Kontron's expertise in system integration and managed services with Darktrace's AI-based threat detection, it said in an official statement.
According to Kontron, the deal supports its ongoing expansion in cthe cybersecurity sector and will increase its recurring revenue from security services.
On the XETRA Exchange, KTN.DE ended Monday's trading at 19.81 euros, up 0.20 euros or 1.02 percent.
