Visa Inc. (V) reported second quarter net income of $1.92 per share after the bell Wednesday, compared to $1.91 per share last year. The company expects full year 2013 adjusted earnings per share growth of around 20%.
Visa gapped open higher Thursday and climbed for the majority of the morning. The stock ended the session higher by 9.38 at $175.40, with volume at a 10-month high. Visa rose past the upper end of over a one-month range and set a new high for the year.
