The New Zealand dollar erased its late Asian session advance against most other major currencies in early deals on Monday.
The kiwi edged sharply lower to 0.8269 against the US dollar and 84.06 against the yen around 5:45 am ET, down from a session's high of 0.8317 and 84.60, respectively.
The NZ dollar also pared previous session's gains against the euro, falling as low as 1.5681 around 5:50 am ET from a low of 1.5597 hit around 3:30 am ET.
