The US dollar edged lower against its major counterparts in the early European session on Tuesday.
The greenback drifted lower to 1.3267 against the euro and 0.9296 against the Swiss franc around 3:30 am ET from Asian session's highs of 1.3246 and 0.9323, respectively.
The dollar also slipped to 98.14 against the yen and 1.5342 against the pound from Asian session highs of 98.45 and 1.5314, respectively.
