Dolly Parton has revealed plans for an Australian leg of her forthcoming "Blue Smoke World Tour." The trek comes in support of her upcoming record, Blue Smoke, and will feature six shows down under.
"Australia, here I come again. We have a lot of new and exciting things for the show and can't wait to share it with you. I love my fans in that part of the world," Parton said in a presser.
"You've been so very good to me for so many years and I know that we're gonna have a wonderful time. It's a long way from home in your part of the world, but I always feel like I'm right at home. So Australia, I'm coming home. Wait up!"

The Federal Reserve policy session was in focus as it was the first to be led by the new chief Kevin Warsh. In Europe, central banks of the U.K. and Switzerland announced their rate decisions. In Asia, the Bank of Japan drew attention for its policy moves, while data out of China threw some light on the state of the economy.
