Hilton Food Appoints Mark Allen To Become CEO

Hilton Food Group Plc (HFG.L, HLFGY, HLTFF) on Tuesday announced that Executive Chair Mark Allen will assume the role of Group Chief Executive Officer effective July 1.

The company also appointed Mark Clare as an independent non-executive chair on the same date.

The leadership changes follow the company's announcement on March 31 and are part of its plans to implement the strategy arising from its recent strategic review.

Clare brings extensive listed-company experience as a chief executive, non-executive director, senior independent director and board chair.

Clare currently serves as a non-executive director and chair of the remuneration committee at Wickes Group Plc (WIX.L) and as a non-executive director at Drax Group plc.

On Monday, Hilton Food Group closed trading 1.41% lesser at GBp 523.50 on the London Stock Exchange.
