Tim McGraw will be hitting the road in 2014 after announcing this week that he will embark on a 30-city trek called the Sundown Heaven Town Tour. The trek begins in Sacramento in May, and makes stops in major markets like Chicago, Philadelphia, Toronto, Atlanta, Salt Lake City and Dallas.
McGraw will be touring behind his new album, which is set to be released by Big Machine Records in the near future. The album's first single, "Lookin' for that Girl," hit country music airwaves on Monday.
Of the new album and lead single, McGraw said in a press release: "With every album, my approach is to push a few of my own boundaries and try things I've never done before. It was hard to choose a lead single off this project because I really felt like we had six or seven good options. I kept coming back to 'That Girl' because even though it may be a little different for me sonically, I couldn't get it out of my head!"
The exact dates of the concerts for the Sundown Heaven Town 2014 tour will be announced shortly with tickets going on sale January 24.
