Eurozone investor confidence improved unexpectedly in February, a monthly survey by the think tank Sentix showed on Monday.
The investor sentiment index rose 1.4 points to 13.3 points. The score was forecast to fall to 10.3 points.
The improvement was mainly driven by buoyant current assessment in February. The current situation index rose to 1.8 from -0.8 in January. It turned positive for the first time since August 2011.
At the same time, investors' expectations climbed only marginally in February, to 25.5 from 25.3 in January.
