If you were to ask Queen's Brian May about Adam Lambert, he would tell you that he is a "gift from God."
May says that Lambert was the only performer they had found who was capable of filling the shoes of iconic frontman Freddie Mercury.
"Adam is the first person we've encountered who can do all the Queen catalogue without blinking," May tells Classic Rock. "He is a gift from God." His bandmate, drummer Roger Taylor, added, "He's incredibly musical, and we certainly take anything he says quite seriously."
Queen and Adam Lambert are set to embark on a U.K. arena tour this month. The band will play ten arena dates in total, starting at the Newcastle Arena on January 13 and ending in Nottingham on January 24.
