Singapore Home Sales Surge In October

Singapore home sales increased sharply in October, data from the Urban Redevelopment Authority showed Monday.

Developers sold 546 units in October compared to 341 units in September. Sales surged 60 percent.

However, it was below 785 units sold in same period of last year.

Data released by the URA last month showed that house prices decreased for the eighth straight quarter in three months ended September. Home prices dropped 1.3 percent sequentially.
