Greece's industrial production increased for the third straight month in June, and at an accelerated pace, data from the Hellenic Statistical Authority showed Tuesday.
Industrial production advanced a working-day-adjusted 7.5 percent year-over-year in June, following a 3.0 percent climb in May.
Output in the manufacturing sector expanded 8.5 percent annually in June and electricity production grew by 16.3 percent. At the same time, mining and quarrying production slumped 27.7 percent.
On a monthly basis, industrial production rose a seasonally adjusted 3.5 percent in June, reversing a 4.0 percent fall in the preceding month.
