Iconic British heavy metal artists, Iron Maiden, will once again be storming the shores of the United States - not with an ear shattering live tour, but with their third entry in their craft beer offerings, Trooper Red 'N' Black.

Brewed by Robinsons Brewery in Stockport, England, Red 'N' Black follows the popular original offering, Trooper, and the supercharged 6.6 percent alcohol by volume, Trooper 666.

Iron Maiden lead singer Bruce Dickinson has had a hand in crafting the unique flavors of each brew that carries the image of Iron Maiden's recognizable Eddie mascot.

Red 'N' Black, named after the song "The Red And The Black" from Iron Maiden's 2015 double-album release The Book of Souls, veers from the route of traditional English ales, and into the porter class of beers.

"Stouts and porters were virgin territory for me," says Dickinson, "so I just went by feel, and I hope we have created a new take on a classic beer."
