A cryptocurrency Youtuber plans to launch a Bitcoin-funded television series.
Jason Appleton, popularly known as Crypto Crow, said on Twitter that he signed an agreement with CBS Television Networks to broadcast 13 episodes of the series, titled "Crypto Crow Show."
The first season is scheduled to begin on June 25, and will reach over 47 million homes through CBS, CW and Roku.
This is purely an educational series, with each episode providing information on helping new comers to the Crypto space such as researching, investing, and how to stay secure in their efforts. It will also feature ICO and Cryptocurrency companies and their potential impact on the crypto industry.
Topics include Crypto Security, Exchange Trading, Initial Coin Offerings, Crypto Cycles/Crashes, Crypto Mining Vs. Investing, and The Future Of Cryptocurrency.
This will be the first time a Cryptocurrency Youtuber is producing a television series fully paid for by Bitcoin. All promotional sponsors and features are paid by Bitcoin.
Jason Appleton launched his first video on Youtube in the name Crypto Crow in November last year, when he was the Vice President Of Sales for a Mortgage Company.
Within a short span of time, Crypto Crow became so popular that it attracted tens of thousands of subscribers who watched Appleton's ICO reviews and investment lessons online.
Television channels have recently started airing shows featuring cryptocurrency.
In February, Krypton Capital had announced the launch of Crypto TV which focuses on breaking crypto news, panel discussions and live interviews.
Cable network Cheddar launched a 30-minute show about cryptocurrencies called Crypto Craze in April.
