David Nail shared the latest track from his band's new album In My Head in an exclusive with Taste of Country earlier this week.
Co-written with his bandmates, Jason Hall and Andrew Petroff, the song addresses Nail's long battle with Depression.
"I don't want pity for being this way/It ain't your problem no you ain't to blame/Don't have the answer no I don't understand/What's wrong in my head it's just who I am," he sings.
"I've touched on this subject matter a few times in other songs, but I had never really been as detailed as I was in this particular song," said Nail to Taste of Country in a recent statement. "I don't know that I've ever heard a song that explains what it feels like and what you deal with on a day-to-day basis from that point of view."
Nail's newly formed band, David Nail and The Well Ravens are all set to release their first studio album, Only This And Nothing More on September 14.
