In an exclusive report by The Today Show, it was revealed that after 5 years on the T.V show, American Idol, Mariah Carey will soon be joining the fifteenth season of NBC's show, The Voice as a Key Advisor to mentor the remaining 32 competitors alongside coaches Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
"The sessions with the contestants, some of them have completely blown me away," she told The Today Show.
Speaking about the experience of working with new talent, she added that, "It's like a humbling experience to be around all the raw talent and its great cause, I'm not saying that you can get jaded being in the industry or doing your own music and really being caught up in your own world, but maybe a little bit and it's nice to see other people and what they're doing and what they're working with, what they're bringing to the table in terms of their contributions as artists. So, I really enjoyed it."
The artist will be joining the show on Monday, October 29.
