Radiohead guitarist and composer Jonny Greenwood has paid tribute to legendary comedian, writer and actor Bob Einstein, who passed away on Wednesday.
Einstein died of cancer at the age of 76.
He is popular for his recurring failed stuntman character Super Dave Osbourne and Marty Funkhouser, his character in Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Greenwood revealed that he used the name Marty Funkhouser to check into hotels on tour.
Sharing his tribute on Twitter, Greenwood said, "So sad to hear this. He was amazing in Curb: I was Marty Funkhouser on the last two Radiohead tours in tribute to his beautifully pitched performance. So subtle. And to think it was all improvised."
Greenwood also posted a letter he received addressed to Funkhouser from the Park Hyatt Chicago.
