Sting is planning to release a new album featuring "reimagined" versions of some of his best-known songs later this summer, the former Police singer and bassist's website has revealed.
The website said a new version of 1999's "Brand New Day," which Sting debuted on Fox's New Year's Eve telecast, is now available for streaming and download.
The new version of "Brand New Day" features a modernized arrangement courtesy of Grammy-winning DJ, remixer and producer Dave Audé.
Sting's website noted "Brand New Day" is just the first of several well-known tunes the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer will be revisiting on his upcoming My Songs tour, which kicks off June 1 in Europe.
