Monday, maintenance and repair products distributor Interline Brands, Inc. (IBI), named John Ebner as its new chief financial officer and treasurer.
The company's previous CFO Tom Tossavainen will continue to work for some more time to facilitate a smooth transition. Thomas Tossavainen has served as Interline Brands' CFO since May 10, 2005 and treasurer since July 2004. Earlier, Tossavainen was CFO of the company's subsidiary Interline Opco.
Ebner joins Interline after spending 13 years with Alltel Corp., where he served as treasurer, senior vice president of investor relations and vice president of finance - wireless operations. Ebner was largely responsible in bringing about Alltel's mergers and acquisitions, including the $28.1 billion acquisition of Alltel by Verizon Wireless, completed on January 9, 2009.
IBI is currently trading at $18.25, down $0.03 or 0.16%,on the NYSE.
