Swiss KOF Economic Barometer Falls To minus 0.39 In December

Signaling that the Swiss economy is likely to contract in the next few months, the KOF Economic Barometer fell 0.35 points month-on-month to minus 0.39 in December, the KOF Economic Institute said Monday. Economists had expected a reading of minus 0.26. At the same time, the think-tank revised November's figure to minus 0.04 from minus 0.05.
