Indonesia's GDP Growth Slows To 4.4% In Q1

Indonesia's economy expanded at a slower annual pace of 4.4% in the first quarter, compared with a 5.2% growth seen in the fourth quarter, the statistical office reported Friday. However, the growth was better than 4.2% increase economists had forecast.

From the fourth quarter, the economy expanded 1.6% in the first quarter.
