(RTTNews) -
Jay-Z and
Alicia Keys have released the music video for their duet, "Empire State of Mind," keeping up the heat after they performed the song before Game Two of the World Series last Thursday.
The video, directed by
Hype Williams, was shot in Harlem, Times Square and around Ground Zero in New York. It shows various still shots of iconic landmarks in the city - Ebbets Field, Rockefeller Center, Madison Square Garden - intercut with clips of Hov and Keys performing the song.
"Empire State of Mind," which appears on Jay-Z's
The Blueprint 3, was released as a single in September and has reached number five on the
Billboard Hot 100 chart. The rapper and Keys first premiered the song at the MTV Video Music Awards.
The duo is also set to perform the song on November 22 at the American Music Awards, which will be aired on ABC.
