Origin Agritech Limited (SEED) reported that its fiscal 2009 net loss was US$5.98 million, compared to a net loss of US$6.37 million last year. On a per share basis, net loss was US$0.26, compared to a loss of US$0.27 in prior year.
On Non-GAAP Basis, net income was US$1.91 million or US$0.08 per share, compared to a loss of US$7.72 million or US$0.34 per share last year.
Revenues for the year were US$86.76 million, up from US$75.63 million in the prior year.
For fiscal 2010, the company expects revenue to be in the range of RMB 630 million - RMB 660 million.
