The Killers have been discussing the possibility of taking "an extended hiatus" once they return from their upcoming Australian tour, according to guitarist Dave Keuning.
After playing at Australia's Good Vibrations festival next month, the band plans to take a break for some time.
"I'm not sure that people are aware of it but these are probably our last shows for a while," Keuning told the Sydney Morning Herald. "Unless some surprise thing comes up, these most likely will be our last shows for a while."
Keuning went onto say that the band is not calling it quits completely, or at least, "not as far as I know."
The Killers latest release and third studio album, Day and Age, made its debut back in November 2008. It has sold nearly 3 million copies worldwide and features the singles "Human," "Spaceman" and "A Dustland Fairytale."
