Constellation Energy Group, Inc. (CEG) said it appointed Michael Smith to lead solar sales and green initiatives for the company's competitive retail energy businesses. In the new role, Smith would oversee the development and implementation of sustainable product offerings, including renewable generation, energy efficiency, demand response and greenhouse gas reduction strategies. In addition, Smith would lead the company's growing solar power business and a dedicated commercial solar sales team focused on the rapid deployment of customer-sited solar installations. Smith joined Constellation Energy in 2003.
