Jack White has been no stranger to the world of classic country in recent years, and now he may be back at it again. In a recent interview with Spinner, Dolly Parton confirmed that she is considering taking on White as the producer of her next studio album.

White won two Grammy's for his work on Loretta Lynn's 2004 album, Van Lear Rose. The White Stripes frontman also made headlines back in November when Wanda "The Queen of Rockabilly" Jackson confirmed he would helm her next studio release.

The news broke when Parton was asked if she would ever consider a project similar to that of American Recordings by Johnny Cash, in which Cash worked with several big name produces outside of the country genre.

"Well, I have been approached [by] . . . Jack White," she replied. "I've thought about doing it with [Jack]. He seems to be a fan but who knows. You never know what I might do."

Never one to rest on his laurels, White also recently announced that the Dead Weather will embark on a second tour this spring, which will kick off on April 15 at the Fillmore in San Francisco.
