Gevo Appoints Paul Bloom CEO As Patrick Gruber Retires

Gevo, Inc. (GEVO), a carbon abatement company, Monday announced that it has appointed Paul Bloom as the president of the company on December 9. He will become the chief executive officer on April 1, 2026.

He succeeds Patrick Gruber, who has assumed the role of Executive Chair of the Board and Board Chairman William Baum has transitioned to lead independent director.

Bloom joined Gevo in 2021. Previously he was at Archer-Daniels-Midland Company.

In pre-market activity, GEVO shares were trading at $2.34, up 0.87% on the Nasdaq.
