Peter Gabriel is set to appear on the first episode of a new show called Guitar Center Sessions, which will premiere on August 21 at 9:00 PM on DirecTV.
The show will be taped live at the Guitar Center store in Hollywood, California, and will be hosted by radio personality Jason Bentley.
"With Guitar Center Sessions we feel that we've created an opportunity that will inspire and help musicians," said Guitar Center Director of Music and Entertainment Marketing Dustin Hinz.
"For the show it was key that we create an intimate environment where musicians could truly learn from Peter Gabriel - how he works and what inspires him," he said in a press release. "The audience, along with the setting and the amazing music mind of host Jason Bentley, makes this a unique television experience geared towards helping musicians become better at their craft."
Fans can preview Gabriel's performance on the show with a free video of "Here Comes the Flood," which is being offered as a download exclusively through Guitar Center's website.
