'South Park' Creators Apologize For Plagiarism

The creators of "South Park" have apologized for taking dialogue from a CollegeHumor.com video and using it in their most recent episode, which aired on Comedy Central on Wednesday, October 20.

The "South Park" episode, titled "Insheeption," closely modeled a CollegeHumor.com video called "Inception Characters Don't Understand Inception." The CollegeHumor.com video was posted online in August and was a parody of Christopher Nolan's "Inception."

Both the "South Park" episode and CollegeHumor.com video included the line, "Sometimes my thoughts of my dead wife manifest themselves as trains," along with other similar lines.

Matt Stone, one of the co-creators of "South Park," has explained that he and his partner Trey Parker thought the dialogue used in the CollegeHumor.com video was from the Christopher Nolan film.

Stone tells the Times: "It's just because we do the show in six days, and we're stupid and we just threw it together. But in the end, there are some lines that we had to call and apologize for."
