Klausner Technologies Inc. Tuesday said it has filed suit against PAETEC Holding Corp. (PAET) for patent infringement under its U.S. Visual Voicemail patents.

The suit has been filed in federal court in the Eastern District of Texas by the California law firm of Dovel & Luner.

The lawsuit is based on the sale in the United States of PAETEC's enterprise voicemail products such as PAETEC Mobile Link, PAETEC Visual Messaging Mobile Client, PAETEC / Allworx IP Phone System Servers, all of which allow users to selectively retrieve enterprise voicemail and which infringe Klausner Technologies' Visual Voicemail Patents.

Klausner Technologies currently has 33 Visual Voicemail patent licensees under its U.S., European, and Asian patents.
