A concert DVD filmed on Alice Cooper's 1979 Madhouse Rock Tour, The Strange Case of Alice Cooper, is set to hit retailers on May 22.
Cooper, in full shock-schlock garb, prowls the stage on several tracks from his 1978 album From the Inside including "School's Out," "No More Mr. Nice Guy," "I'm Eighteen" and "I Never Cry."
The DVD "is a must watch for any Cooper fan. Taken from his tour in 1979, the DVD showcases Alice in his heyday. Cooper's stage show was years ahead of its time . . . He had people on stage, people in costumes, creatures, it was more a rock opera than just a concert," opines DVD Snapshot.
The DVD also features a hammy intro by late horror-film star Vincent Price.
