Bulgaria Consumer Price Inflation Slows in October

Wednesday, the Bulgarian National Statistical Institute announced that the consumer price index, or CPI increased 10.9% year-over-year in October, slightly smaller than the 11% recorded in September.

On a monthly basis, the CPI rose 0.5% in October, after rising 1.1% in September.

Meanwhile, the harmonized consumer price index, or HICP increased 0.1% month-on-month in October, compared with a 0.9% rise recorded in the prior month. On an annual basis, the HICP rose 11.2% in October, after rising 11.4% in September.
