Dr.Reddy's Laboratories announced that it launched five products in US market during the month of January 2009. The company launched Levetiracetam tablets of 250 mg, 500 mg, 750 mg, & 1000 mg, the generic version of UCB Keppra tablets with annual sales of $1.1 billion. The company also launched Omeprazole capsules of 40 mg with generic version of AstraZeneca's Prilosec with annual sales of $168 million.
The company launched Lamotragine CD chewable tablets of 5 mg and 25 mg, the generic version of GlaxoSmithKline's Lamictal CD tablets with annual sales of $87 million, Divalproex capsules & delayed release pellets of 125 mg, the generic version of Abbott's Depakote delayed release capsules of 125 mg with IMS annual sales of $126 million. The company also launched Lamotrigine tablets of 25 mg, 100 mg, 150 mg and 200 mg, the generic version of GlaxoSmithKline's Lamictal tablets with annual sales of $2.3 billion as per IMS data.
