Evergreen Solar Rises On Analyst Upgrade
7/2/2009 10:19:59 AM(RTTNews) Boosted by positive analyst comments, Evergreen Solar Inc. (ESLR) gapped open Thursday and has continued to rise steadily through the first 45 minutes of the session.
The stock is trading at $2.50, up 35 cents on the day. This has taken the stock above a recent trading range and to a 2-week high.
JP Morgan upgraded its investment opinion on Evergreen and several other solar energy companies. The rating for Evergreen was raised from Underweight to Overweight. Sunpower (SPWRA) and Ascent Solar (ASTI) were also upgraded.
