MGP Ingredients (MGPI: News ) advanced in the first half hour of trading and has held steady in the mid-morning. The stock is now up 37 cents to $5.10.
Friday's rally is building on gains posted during the previous session, taking the stock above resistance and to a new 52-week high. MGP Ingredients revealed a first-quarter profit before the opening bell Thursday.
