Slovenia's trade deficit narrowed in January for the first time in three months, preliminary data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia showed Friday.
The trade deficit declined to EUR 141.70 million in January from EUR 230.38 million in December. In January 2011, the trade deficit was EUR 79.7 million.
Compared to January 2011, exports grew 2.6 percent and imports increased 6.4 percent.
