Rod Stewart has released "Finest Woman," the latest single from his upcoming album, Time. Rod's first album of new material in almost 20 years will be released on May 7.
"Finest Woman" follows the lead single "She Makes Me Happy," and, according to Ultimate Classic Rock, it's a "carbon copy" of it:
"Replace the mandolin of the previous song with a strong horn line, change a few lyrics and the two songs are the same. Both are about a woman who pulled the singer up from a low point in life."
Stewart produced eleven of the album's twelve tracks, and three additional songs will be available with album pre-orders on iTunes, including the Stewart-penned "Legless."
He'll begin his European tour, backing the LP, in June.
