Romania's producer prices rose at a slower pace in July, after accelerating in the previous month, data released by the National Institute of Statistics showed on Tuesday.
The producer price index rose 1.6 percent year-on-year, after climbing 2.8 percent in June. Prices in the domestic market increased 3.8 percent, which was slower than June's 4.9 percent gain.
Export market prices declined 2.8 percent, a larger fall compared to June's 1.3 percent decline.
Month-on-month, producer prices dropped 0.4 percent in July, after rising 0.3 percent in June. Domestic market prices slid 0.2 percent and prices for the export market shrunk 0.9 percent.
