Despite rumors of a 2015 Faces reunion, Ian McLagan, the band's keyboardist, says that he's not interested in Rod Stewart's recent hints about getting back together. McLagan notes that the band found a different singer in Simply Red's Mick Hucknall.
"We've done the Faces," McLagan recently told Uncut magazine. "And he didn't turn up."
McLagan added that Rod's comments about a Faces 2015 reunion were made without his consultation.
"Why would we f**k around with the Faces when we've got bigger fish to fry?" said McLagen regarding the Small Faces plans to tour in 2015.
Stewart has a track record of ducking out on Faces related events, including a charity reunion gig in 2009, and the induction of the Small Faces into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
