Billy Joel has been added to the growing bill of the upcoming Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest. The broadcast will cut to Joel's previously scheduled concert at Barclays Center in Brooklyn after midnight.
"This should be one of our more memorable New Year's Eves," Rockin' Eve EP Barry Adelman told Billboard. "With Miley Cyrus at 11:40 p.m. and Billy Joel at 12:05 a.m., it should be a great, great night."
Other already announced acts include Jennifer Hudson, Robin Thicke, Ariana Grande, Capital Cities, Daughtry, the Fray, Enrique Iglesias, Jason DeRulo, Fall Out Boy and Florida Georgia Line.
The night kicks off at 8 PM EST on ABC with New Year's Rockin' Eve Presents The 30 Greatest Women In Music, a two hour countdown of the 30 greatest female artists in music. Coverage of New Year's celebrations from both coasts lasts through 2:12 a.m. ET.
