Imagine Dragons has been added to the lineup for the inaugural edition of the U.S. iTunes Music Festival. The event, which is sponsored by Apple and has taken place in London since 2007, will make its U.S. debut alongside the South By Southwest conference in Austin, Texas in early March.
This year the rockers will help kick things off with a host of other impressive performers including Keith Urban, Coldplay and Willie Nelson.
"The iTunes Festival in London has become an incredible way for Apple to share its love of music with our customers," Eddy Cue, Apple's senior vice president of Internet Software and Services, said in a statement. "We're excited about the incredible lineup of artists performing and SXSW is the perfect place to debut the first iTunes Festival in the U.S."
