Kenny Chesney has announced a one night only appearance at the House of Blues in New Orleans on May 17. The announcement comes after Kenny said last summer that he planned on taking the entirety of 2014 off from touring.
"Having spent the last five or six months in the studio, I am so ready to get out there and play," Chesney told The Tennessean.
"Even though we're making music, it's not the same and I can't wait to be in a room with the energy of the people . . . have that feeding back at me, getting all that coming back at me."
Proceeds from the show go to the Matthew McConaughey charity ust Keep Livin' Foundation and the Drew Brees charity The Brees Dream Foundation.
Tickets, available for $350, can be had at the House of Blues website.
