Blake Shelton will pull double duty as host and musical guest on the January 24 episode of Saturday Night Live. It's Blake's first time as host, although he's no stranger to TV after several seasons on NBC's The Voice.
He has also hosted the ACM Awards with Luke Bryan several years.
"Congrats @blakeshelton on the music AND hosting #SNL gig Jan 26th. Just goes to prove kids . . . you can literally drink your way to the top," wrote Voice emcee Carson Daly on Twitter.
Past country stars who've hosted and performed have included Garth Brooks, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Tim McGraw and Taylor Swift.
