Tesla Motors Inc. (TSLA) announced Thursday morning that it delivered 11,507 Model S sedans during the second quarter. This represents an increase of nearly 52 percent from the prior year period.
Tesla Motors gapped up sharply Thursday, but traded in a range for the bulk of the session. The stock finished higher by 10.87 at $280.02 on above average volume. Tesla has been gaining ground for the past 2 weeks and set a 9 1/2 month high.
