Comcast Bumps Up Internet Speed For Most Western Customers At No Extra Cost

This could be heart warming for those Internet surfers in most Western states. Comcast is out to woo them with an irresistible offering.

The cable television company announced late Thursday that subscribers to many popular XFINITY bundles can have their download speed augmented to 75 Mbps or 150 Mbps depending on Performance Pro or Blast! Pro, the two speed tiers it is offering.

The company said the two speed tiers will be available by the end of October. The subscribers in Houston and Washington are fortunate to have the offering operational from October 9.

Customers are required to restart their modems to benefit from the increased speed and those of whose modems, which needs to be upgraded will be provided with new modems at no extra cost.
