Reba McEntire has been named the new celebrity guest announcer on NBC's Best Time Ever With Neil Patrick Harris.
The country singer will appear on Best Time Ever With Neil Patrick Harris on October 20, joining a long list of celeb announcers, including Reese Witherspoon, Alec Baldwin, Shaquille O'Neal and Jack Black.
The prime-time series, which features Harris and his guests in a variety of comedy skits, stunts, pranks, musical performances and audience giveaways, airs live on NBC at 8 p.m.
It could be that Reba is in for more than mere announcing, as during this week's episode, Black brought the show to a close with a performance of Steppenwolf's "Born to Be Wild," surrounded by acrobats and fire-breathing dancers.
Next week's musical guest for the recurring "Singalong Live" segment will be Omi, who will perform his hit "Cheerleader."
