Tom Petty and Mudcrutch has kicked off their summer tour, which will keep them out on the road until the end of June.
The first two dates of the tour were benefit shows to raise money for Midnight Mission, a Los Angeles-based charity dedicated to offering 12-step recovery, family living, job training, education and workforce development programs to men, women and children who have, in the words of the Mission's site, "lost direction."
