Adele paid tribute to Prince while kicking off her U.S. tour in his home state of Minnesota on Tuesday, July 5, according to NME.
The 28-year-old British singer played the Xcel Energy Center in St Paul, Minnesota as her first stop on her U.S. tour. She performed several of her hits including "Hello," "Rumour Has It" and "Skyfall."
Before coming back on stage for her encore, a video of Prince's 1994 hit song "The Most Beautiful Girl In The World" played in full. Later Adele claimed she didn't feel worthy of covering a Prince song.
"I did maybe consider covering a song, but f**k it, it's Prince!"
