European Economics Preview: BoE's Financial Stability Report Due

The Financial Stability Report from the Bank of England is due on Wednesday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 2.00 am ET, UK Nationwide house price data is due. House prices are forecast to rise 1.7 percent on year in June, slower than the 2.4 percent increase registered in May.

At 2.45 am ET, France's Insee publishes consumer sentiment survey results. The confidence index is forecast to remain unchanged at 100 in June.

At 4.00 am ET, the European Central Bank publishes money supply data for May. M3 is forecast to grow 3.8 percent annually, following a 3.9 percent rise in April.

In the meantime, Italy's business and consumer confidence survey results are due.

At 5.30 am ET, the Bank of England is scheduled to release the Financial Stability Report, setting out the Financial Policy Committee's view on the stability of the UK financial system.

At 7.00 am ET, the Czech National Bank announces its rate decision. The bank is forecast to hold its key rate at 0.75 percent.

In other news, several countries released the preliminary data for first quarter economic growth. In the U.S., comments by Fed Chair Jerome Powell were also in focus as his term ends this month.
