Bridgewater Systems Corp. (BWC.TO) said on Monday that Global Mobile is deploying the Bridgewater Service Controller and Policy Controller to deliver mobile multimedia services to consumers and enterprises. The solutions are being delivered in collaboration with CommVerge Solutions.
Bridgewater Systems said Global Mobile is deploying its market leading WiMAX solutions in the northern region of Taiwan to deliver services such as mobile Internet, mobile TV, interactive media services, digital audio, and mobile advertising. The company intends to launch commercial services in the Hsinchu area before the end of 2009, and extend coverage to the Taipei area in 2010.
